Silken Tofu with Crispy Anchovies
5 minutes is all you need to try this cold silken tofu dish! Its savoury, full of umami from the fried small anchovies, and has great customizability from the dressing sauce~
Ingredients:
- Small dried anchovies
- 1 block of silken tofu
- A splash of cooking oil
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp chilli oil (optional)
- Chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions:
- Over low heat, add a spoonful of oil and the thawed small dried anchovies to the pan. Sauté them slowly until they become crispy and fragrant, then remove from the pan.
- Make your dressing by combining soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and optionally chilli oil in a small bowl and mix.
- Cut the tofu into small pieces and place them on a serving plate, then pour over your dressing.
- Top with the crispy anchovies and garnish with chopped green onions for color and aroma.
