Serving Suggestions

Eat Directly: Enjoy straight from the jar with white rice, noodles, or as a side dish.

Chilli Chicken Soup:

  • Recommended: Use one whole chicken with one full jar (extra-large size) of crispy peeled chillies. Adjust quantity to taste.

  • Optional: Add ingredients like mushrooms, pickled radish, shredded ginger, or clams for enhanced flavor.

  • Tip: Simmer the water, chicken, and chilli brine first. Add the peeled chillies during the last 5 minutes to maintain their crisp texture.

Cold Dishes: Slice the chillies into strips or cubes and mix with century egg tofu, diced cucumber, or shredded potato for refreshing appetizers.

Minced & Mixed: Finely chop and mix into dumpling fillings for pickled chilli dumplings. Also great stirred into minced pork with pickles—perfect with rice or noodles.
