Recipe Toronto Pie 多倫多派
1.預熱烤箱350 ℉
2.準備9寸圓型蛋糕烤盤,先塗抹一層油,並鋪上烤紙
3.準備 1⁄2 cup (杯)牛奶,加熱到邊緣冒小氣泡,再加入2 tablespoons (湯匙) 黃油並混合均勻
4.1 cup(杯)低筋麵粉,1 1⁄4 teaspoons (茶匙)發酵粉,1⁄4 teaspoon (茶匙)鹽混合後過篩
5.一個盆中打2個雞蛋,打蛋器攪打,分次加入2⁄3cup (杯)白砂糖和1⁄4teaspoon (茶匙)香草精,以高速將雞蛋打發變白變蓬鬆
6.將過篩好的粉逐步加入雞蛋混合物中,並加入牛奶混合物,攪拌均勻倒入9寸蛋糕烤盤
7.將烤盤放入預熱好的烤箱烤30到35分鐘,直到輕按蛋糕表面會回彈的狀態即烤製成功
8.拿出烤盤至室溫冷卻後將蛋糕脫模,並將蛋糕橫向切割為2層
9.兩片蛋糕之間塗沫上 Laura Secord純草莓果醬 或 Laura Secord純柑橘果醬
10.最後在蛋糕表面篩上 台灣維生糖粉 以作裝飾,隨自己喜好切分即可食用~
Prepare:
1⁄2cup milk, scalded, heated till bubbles appear around edges
2tablespoons butter,
1cup cake flour or 1 cup pastry flour
2tablespoons butter,
1 1⁄4teaspoons baking powder
1⁄4teaspoon salt
2⁄3cup granulated sugar
2eggs
1⁄4teaspoon vanilla
Laura Secord Pure Strawberry Jam / Laura Secord Pure Marmalade Jam
Steps:
1.Preheat oven to 350 ℉
2.Grease a 9 inch round layer cake pan and line it with wax paper.
3.Combine scalded milk and butter
4.Sift or blend together flour, baking powder and salt.
5.Beat 2 eggs until very light and fluffy, Gradually beat in granulated sugar and vanilla.(With a mixer at high speed, beat eggs and sugar for 1 minute.)
6.Fold in dry ingredients, then stir in hot milk mixture and turn into the prepared pan.
6.Bake in a preheated 350 ℉ oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until cake springs back when lightly touched.
7.Cool in the pan, when almost cool, loosen edges from pan, split the cake into 2 layers.
8. Sandwich together with Laura Secord Pure Strawberry Jam or Laura Secord Pure Marmalade Jam
9. Sprinkle with TWS Powdered Sugar on top.
