Taiwanese Braised Pork Belly

A simple pressure cooker, one pot recipe where you toss all the ingredients and steam! It comes out delicious, juicy, and oh-so tender!

Ingredients

  • WJS Soy Sauce: 30ml
  • Kokumori Mirin: 100ml
  • Pork belly: 400g
  • Onion:100g
  • Bok choy:200g
  • Water: 200ml

Instructions

  1. Cut the pork belly into 4 cm wide pieces, slice the onion, and wash the bok choy; set aside.
  2. Set the ingredients on a plate, pour in the soy sauce and rice mirin, then place into the pressure cooker, adding about 2 cups of water in the inner pot. Let cook on high pressure for 20 minutes.
  3. Blanch the bok choy and set aside. 🥬
  4. After the pressure cooker switches off, let it sit for 30 minutes. Then, take out the pork belly and place on top the blanched bok choy, and it's ready to serve!
