Classic Italian Bolognese Pasta
A hearty Italian classic featuring a rich, slow-cooked meat sauce made with tomatoes, minced beef, and aromatic herbs. You can recreate this comforting dish in just a few moments with the aid of Mike's ready made bolognese sauce!
Ingredients
Makes two servings:
- 250g (1 cup~) of Mike's Bolognese Sauce
- 200-250g (about half a pack) CamPania Pasta of your choice
*We recommend either spaghetti or linguine!*
- 1 small onion (about 70g), finely diced
- Similar amount of finely diced celery
- 1-2 cloves of garlic, grated /minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil, or equivalent butter
- 100g ground beef (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Basil or parsley, for garnish
- Parmesan cheese, grated, for garnish

Instructions
- Boil your spaghetti in salted water for about 8-10 minutes or until al-dente, per package instructions. Drain and set aside when done.
- Heat a sauce pan with olive oil, then sauté your aromatic vegetables: onion, celery, and garlic until soft and fragrant.
- If you are adding minced beef, add additional bit of olive oil to the pan and add the beef to cook until browned, breaking apart and stirring with a spatula.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, then add in your cup of Mike's Bolognese sauce, mixing well and then letting your sauce mixture to simmer for about 5 minutes
- Finally, throw in your pasta and mix well to combine with the sauce and serve, garnishing with your herbs and cheese!
